Founded in 2002 by Christopher Kirsch, El Polista stands for the authentic combination of polo, style, quality and tradition.

 

However, the brand's roots reach much further back. Christopher Kirsch comes from the Hamburg-based textile company Kirsch, founded in 1972, which is internationally renowned for high-quality textiles. This textile expertise, developed over decades in Hamburg and worldwide, remains a central foundation of El Polista to this day.

 

From this background, the idea arose in the early 2000s – also in discussions with the watch manufacturer Rolex – to create an independent brand that was not integrated into existing brand worlds, but rather holistically reflected the world of the polo player. Thus, El Polista was born.

 

Today, the product range focuses on an extensive textile collection. Polo shirts form the core of the brand and have been manufactured for over ten years in close collaboration with the Hajo company. The range is complemented by vests, polo jeans, polo gloves, and other high-quality garments that combine functionality, comfort, and timeless elegance.

 

But El Polista is much more than just textiles. The brand sees itself as an expression of the entire world of polo – on and off the field. This includes handcrafted polo mallets and polo accessories from Argentina, the birthplace of polo, as well as select wines from collaborations with partners in Germany and Argentina. Everything adheres to the same principle: authenticity, quality, and origin.

 

El Polista has strong international roots and a prominent presence – with strong ties to Germany, Spain, France, and Argentina. Years of established partnerships with companies worldwide underscore the brand's commitment to creating lasting value.
